Dwaith Advisory, established in 2018, offers long-term financial services inspired by the “Dwaitha” philosophy of Madhwacharya, which emphasizes striving for excellence and minimizing errors. The firm is led by Harsha Venkatesh, an experienced investor since the early 2000s with international experience in the USA and Germany. He adopts a fee structure similar to early Buffett partnerships, with no management fees and a 25% performance fee on returns exceeding 6%. His long-term goal is to outperform major indices and surpass 90% of mutual and hedge fund managers.

Dwaitha philosophy

Dwaitha philosophy, founded by the 13th-century Indian philosopher Madhvacharya, is a school of Vedanta that emphasizes dualism. Dwaitha posits that there are two distinct realities: the individual soul (Jiva) and the supreme being (Brahman or Vishnu). These two entities are fundamentally different and independent. The human endeavor to achieve excellence and move towards perfection through our efforts is a central tenet that has inspired us.

This principle guides our investment approach as we seek to preserve and grow wealth through value investing in India’s emerging market. We focus on identifying undervalued companies with strong growth potential, run by exceptional management teams. We believe in patient, value-driven investing, harnessing the potential of India’s economic rise while maintaining a disciplined, research-intensive approach to capital allocation.

By following the process, over the long term (5 years), we plan to deliver better results compared to major indices and 90% of mutual fund and hedge fund managers worldwide.
